How Do I Join a Group?

You can join a group using a valid invitation code provided by the group admin or another authorized member.

Join Steps

1. Log into cMe.
2. Open the join-group screen.
3. Enter the invitation code you received.
4. Double-check that what you entered is complete, and watch for confusable numbers and letters.
5. Submit the join request.
6. After joining, open the group in the group list and review your sharing settings.

Invitation codes are usually only valid for a limited time. If the code has expired, was entered incorrectly, has been revoked, or the group's status has changed, joining may fail.

After joining a group, you can decide whether to share real-time location and location history based on the group's settings and your account permissions.
