How Do I Turn Off Location Sharing?

Location sharing in cMe has both a global toggle and a per-group toggle. Turning off one may produce a different result than the other.
Ways to Turn It Off
- Turn off global location sharing: cMe stops actively sharing your current location with group members.
- Turn off sharing for one group: only affects that group; other groups aren't necessarily affected.
- Turn off location-history sharing: doesn't affect real-time location, but limits other members' ability to view your location history.
After you turn off location sharing, other members may still briefly see the last location you uploaded, until the page refreshes or the system determines that location is no longer appropriate to display.
Tip
Turning off cMe's system location permission also stops location updates, but it's generally better to use cMe's in-app sharing toggle first, since it's easier to manage privacy on a per-group basis.
